His Excellency, Governor Mohammed Abubakar, Executive Governor of Bauchi State, perfectly understands the developmental needs of his people and well-grounded on how they could be delivered. To crystalize this ambition, immediately on assumption of office, his administration embarked on the construction of major Bauchi Township and inter-city road projects, the construction and rehabilitation of urban and rural roads, improvement of health facilities, and the total overhaul of the education system. This cost huge resources and energy but the action Governor was committed to providing his people with empowerment catalyst to make them experience life changing facilities.
Apart from Bauchi roads, the state also embarked upon the construction and rehabilitation of over 100 km Misau – Udubo – Gamawa road with 2 standard bridges; the construction of 22 KM Darazo – Gabchiyari Road in Darazo LGA, the dualization of Jama’are Road, the rehabilitation of Sule Katagum Road in Azare and the design and construction of over 50km Hanafari – Jurara – Garin Babani – Sabon Kafi – Dogon
The Governor also took his infrastructural development project into the health sector with the construction of health clinics, provision of essential hospital equipment, construction of housing quarters, and automated water supply at Zalanga Community in collaboration with Community and Social Development Project (CSDP).
Also, 19 Primary health centres were constructed by the administration of Governor Abubakar across 20 LGAs of the state. Each Primary Health Centre is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, doctors and nurses’ quarters, toilets, boreholes and other conveniences.
