The St. Gabriel Coconut Refinery project is on course.
Some production lines have started arriving and installations are about to commence.
The factory already has 400 young people from Akwa Ibom in various aspects of its on-going construction work.
At completion, it has the capacity to process 300,000 coconuts each day.
This remains a clarion call for Akwa Ibom people to embark on intensive coconut planting to become great suppliers of raw materials to the developing industry.
